Text

You are hard for me, Lady
I'm still
Breaking my teeth on your name. For that matter I'm
Hard for myself-
Breasts, hair, secret
Uncovenanted parts-All
That I struggle with. There's
Something you have to teach me And I don't want to
learn.
I keep
Trying
Holding back
'frying. All the prayers I make you are
Flashy
Like new silver.
It's too much
Being alone with you. l want a
Rebbe, a minyan, a
Thousand generations to put
A patina on these words-
I want a crowd around this mountain
